Day 1 Moshi to Simba Farm

Your journey begins at 7:30 AM with a transfer from your Moshi hotel to the scenic Simba Farm, the starting point of your biking adventure. You’ll kick off the ride with a downhill stretch through the farm’s beautiful landscape before joining a rugged road that leads into the heart of West Kilimanjaro.

Pedal your way through Ngare Nairobi village and trace the boundary of the Ndarakwai Conservancy as you approach the West Kilimanjaro airstrip. The trail continues along a dusty dirt road, guiding you toward Tinga Tinga village and then southward into the dry, golden plains surrounding Ngabobo Village. This dramatic change in scenery—from Kilimanjaro’s green foothills to vast, open savannah—offers a striking contrast. Keep your eyes peeled for wild game like giraffes, elands, zebras, and wildebeests grazing across the plains.

The final stretch of your ride features a steady climb on a gravel path from Ngabobo to Sanya Juu, where your cycling tour wraps up. After a rewarding day on the trail, you’ll be comfortably driven back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
