Description

This is a 5-day group tour. This tour takes you around the famous north circuit parks Serengeti is famous for over a million wildebeest migrating alongside over 250000 zebras. The Ngorongoro Crater is the highlighted park with its beautiful landscapes. It is easier to see animals as it is a crater floor. Then go to Tarangire, which is like a smaller Serengeti but famous for the many numbers of elephants. Lastly, visit Lake Manyara, famous for tree-climbing lions though they are rarely seen.

Arrival Pickup from JRO – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will warmly be met by our representative and transfer you to your place of stay in Arusha for dinner and an overnight.

Day 1 Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, the tour starts. The first stop is Arusha town for any last-minute purchases before you head off on safari. Afterward, you will head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. Later in the afternoon, you will drive to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight camping.

Day 2 Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti which takes 6 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have a stopover at Ngorongoro Crater. You will briefly stop for 20 minutes at the gate and viewpoint to look at the breathtaking view of the crater.

You will visit a Maasai village. It is optional to visit and explore the culture of the great Maasai community. They are known for chasing lions of their kill and hunting lions to be considered a warrior, drinking raw animal blood though these traditions are a thing of the past except drinking blood you can surely learn something. This is an optional visit not included in the price. The entrance fee is 10 - 20 USD.

You will arrive in the late afternoon and do a game drive in Seronera (center of Serengeti) till late evening and experience the sunset in Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals lucky enough to see a predator hunting.

Day 3 Serengeti National Park

Continue game viewing, focusing on different areas of the Serengeti depending on the time of year and animal migrations.

Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy a thrilling game drive within the crater, observing a diverse range of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, and more.

Day 5 Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will go to Lake Manyara National Park famous for the large number of flamingoes in the lake and its tree-climbing lions (though they are rarely seen). You will do a game drive viewing plenty of birds, lucky enough you can spot these famous tree-climbing lions. You will visit the Hippo Pool for a close look at hippos and the hot spring all this while doing a game drive and viewing plenty of animals (buffaloes, wildebeest, warthogs, vultures, eagles, monkeys, etc.).
