Arrival Pickup from JRO – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will warmly be met by our representative and transfer you to your place of stay in Arusha for dinner and an overnight.

Day 1 Arusha - Ngorongoro Crater Tour

In the morning at 0600hrs drive 190km from Arusha to Ngorongoro, descend into crater floor with packed lunch for a day game drives, picnic lunch will be served in the Crater on the picnic site at Ngoitoktok swamp a hippo pool. After lunch at 1430hrs ascend the crater and drive out and further to Empakai Crater rim and drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Empakai – Lake Natron

Breakfast at the camp, trek down from the East rim to the crater floor, It is a pristine forested crater with no roads; take an easy walk to the lake where sometimes-huge flocks of flamingo birds can be seen. You will have lunch at Empakai crater rim. After lunch you drive out from conservation and head to Lake Natron for dinner and overnight.

A caved in volcanic caldera, Empakaai Crater stands at 300 metres in height and more than six kilometres in width. Rippling at its heart is Empakaai Lake, an 85 metre deep alkaline pool that envelops three quarters of the crater’s floor. Standing at Empakai Crater’s imposing rim, you can see landmarks, such as the distant fleecy snows of Kilimanjaro far on the eastern side of the Valley, the Great Rift Valley, and Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano.

Along your hiking sojourn, while taking in the glorious sights, you are sure to spot a profusion of animals including blue monkeys, buffalo, bush bucks, water bucks, and an extensive array of kaleidoscopic bird life

Day 3 Full day at Lake Natron

Breakfast, then drive to Lake Natron the Soda Lake where many water birds can be seen including Flamingo birds which breed and produce their own food on the lake-this is very interesting.

After lunch, drive and walk around Natron exploring the area, experience both the natural environment, people of the Maasai tribe and the residency game wild. On or as the Sun goes down, visit the beautiful waterfalls just near the lake. It is a very nice place that you can even take bath without fear. You will have dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Mount Oldonyo Lengai Climb - Arusha

Mount Oldonyo Lenyai rise at 2878 meters, means Mountain of God to the Maasai tribe, an active volcanic mountain in East Africa. At very early day (mid-night) at 1:00 a.m. drive to the base of the Ol’doinyo Lengai, the mountain of God to start the climb, Feel strength, you can make it, ascend to its menacing crater rim, you will reach at the summit during sunrise. The guides will advise time to spend on the top and time to leave from the peak and descend to the base and will meet your vehicle and will be transferred back to the camp for breakfast.

At 0900hrs after breakfast, drive back to Arusha for your onwards arrangement. (Accommodation and Airport transfer will be on your account, but we can arrange them on request)
