Day 1 Arusha to Gombe national park

After early breakfast fly from Arusha to Kigoma town, when you arrive, a driver is waiting go for boat ride on Lake Tanganyika direct to Gombe stream national park for overnight at Mbali Mbali Gombe lodge. The next day it's all about the chimpanzees!

Day 2 Gombe national park

After breakfast game viewing+ Chimpanzee tracking in the forest climb to the James peak at the park return to the camp for lunch. Afternoon at leisure dinner, overnight stay at Mbali mbali Gombe lodge.

Day 3 Gombe to Mahale Mountain national park

Next day next experience. More chimpanzees await you in the Mahale Mountains National Park. After breakfast at a 2.5-hour drive and a boat ride from Gombe National Park to Mahale national park, this park is a bit larger and home to roughly 900 wild chimpanzees. The park is different from most since there are no roads and you have to go on foot. Experienced guides take you on a hike through the mountains in search of groups of chimpanzees. Once found, you get plenty of time to observe these beauties - a magical experience. Dinner and overnight Mbali Mbali Mahale Lodge.

Day 4 Mahale mountain national park to arusha airport

After an amazing time with the chimpanzees, it is time to embark on your journey from Mahale back to Kigoma. This beautiful and adventurous journey by boat and car takes approximately eight hours. Later fly from Kigoma to Arusha/KIA airport for fly. This is your last day! Today you fly to KIA Airport in Moshi, from where you will catch your flight home. Having second thoughts? Then don't hesitate to extend your holiday to one of Tanzania's attractions such as Serengeti national park, Ngorongoro crater and paradise Island such as Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia!.
