These 5 Days / 4 nights days Tanzania Big-five safaris will take you into the wild make some game drive within protected area in Tanzania. Our game drive will take you to lake Manyara, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti all in northern part of Tanzania. During your tours you will be able to witness all big five animals in the safaris. Our sample safari itinerary – it can be adapted to suite your own personal needs and preferences or to any seasonal changes and migratory animal movements. As with all our Tanzanian safaris, we have offered you a variety of accommodation options – directly to your preference and according on the total safari costs in order to offer you the widest possible tour budget options. ARRIVE IN TANZANIA.
Upon arrival day into Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) you will be meet with our tour guide when will help you and with your luggage and transferred to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Mount Meru hotel and prepared yourself for the Adventures.
Overnight at: African Tulip Hotel
Meal plan: no meal included.
DAY 1: MOSHI/ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NP.
At 8am after breakfast, you will be picked up from the lodge by your safari guide and driven to Tarangire National Park with lunch boxes to enjoy the wildlife.
Tarangire National Park is almost 3000sq km in size and is probably best known for its huge numbers of elephants and baobab trees. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River, which crosses though the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the dry season (June-November) as wildlife concentrations rival that of the Serengeti (since enormous population of the elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only source of water). With its varied habitats and permanent water in the Tarangire River the park is home to over 2000 elephants and 5000 bird species.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE NP – SERENGETI NP.
After morning breakfast, you will be driven to Serengeti national park.
Drive about 3 hours, enjoy your afternoon game drive in the wild heart of the Serengeti. The Serengeti national park is the world’s large great wildlife refuge as it contains an estimated three million large animals most which take part in a seasonal migration that is one of nature’s wonders. The area covers 14763sq kms and the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai ‘Siringet’ meaning endless plains.

DAY 3: SERENGETI NP.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day in Central Serengeti, The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera river valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel game viewing in Central Serengeti is at it’s during the dry season (June-November) as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest, and giraffe and resident carnivores include lions and leopards.

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, and dinner
DAY 4: SERENGETI NP – NGORONGORO.
Today you will be travel to Ngorongoro conservation area. After morning breakfast, we will start our game drive in Serengeti enroute to Ngorongoro crater. You will also opt to pass through the Maasai village for watching the Maasai dances, traditions, and culture which is very enjoyable. You will reach the Ngorongoro in the evening ready for resting and dinner.

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, and dinner
DAY 5: NGORONGORO – MOSHI/ARUSHA.
After an early breakfast you will drive down the steep and narrow road that takes you into the crater. The slopes are forested but soon the landscape changes to savannah. Here the wildlife is just breath-taking and with a little luck you can observe the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – in just a few hours. You should also see warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area.
After a morning dedicated to game viewing and a picnic lunch, you will leave the crater in the early afternoon to drive back to Moshi, where you will arrive in the early evening.

DEPARTURE DAY.
Today you may have a plan to fly home or have a flight to Zanzibar; our vehicle will be ready to take you to the airport at perfect time to catch your flight.
