BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF NYAMERA TREKS AND SAFARIS
Nyamera Treks and Safaris is a Tanzanian local experienced tour company found in 2019. The company specializes in authentic adventures and Safaris. We are so proud to work with you and manage all your dream to travel in Africa.
The company is committed to providing a professional service to our customers, nature experiences, ensuring they benefit from our experience, and discovering unique styles. We aim to make a difference in adventures and safaris in everything we do to our customers.
Nyamera Treks and Safaris act as tour agent and distributor for travel tourism and related supplier in Tanzania tourism. In order to make sure our clients enjoy the unforgettable active tourism in Tanzania, we bind our services with terms and conditions. Subsequent contracts shall be interpreted according to the regulations and authority of the united republic of Tanzania.
To as the term booking means that the purchase of any product or goods and services made on any of our access. Booking is taking place when Nyamera Treks and Safaris have sent a written confirmation to the email address submitted by our clients. According to our experiences we recognize that most people do not get many opportunities for such a trip, that why Nyamera Treks and Safaris put all effort into make the marvelous and unforgettable a unique lifetime experience in a safe way in Africa. Nyamera Treks and Safaris aimed to give you marvelous safaris tour packages according to the need of our clients that’s why we are not the lowest price local operator. However, be aware that there are usually details that operators will be willing to commit in order to offer lower expenses in your journey to Africa.
GENERAL BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
To booking a journey contact us with your fancy activities and destinations as long as we have something for our customer clients, we will work with you to create your own perfect safari itinerary and accommodations to resemble your budget. Bookings should be confirmed in writing either by emails, filling our booking forms, telephone, or our any web pages. Your booking is full confirmed when we receive 25% of non-refundable deposit on our bank account. All deposits need to be paid within 2 weeks of receiving invoice to our bank account. Binding contract between you and Nyamera Treks and Safaris is considered when you do book and Nyamera Treks and Safaris confirms your booking.
If a client is making a booking with Nyamera Treks and Safaris for a group of passengers not only for himself / herself the client warrants that he or she has all authority to sign in a contract on behalf of all others persons mentioned in the booking form. A client who booking for a group of passenger has responsibility to inform others about our booking terms and conditions on our web page. By signing of the contract, Nyamera Treks and Safaris refers that the client confirms that he/she and all other passengers mentioned on the booking have read, understood and agree of all terms and conditions of our jaunt.
NOTE: The balance is to be paid full in USD currency only. Please note that to all of our clients USD notes below 2006 are not accepted in Tanzania.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND
All cancellation of reservations must be in writing through our mails, telephone or our any web page and will be only active upon its receipt and replied by Nyamera Treks and Safaris. NOTE: The cancellations must be sent in writing to the Nyamera Treks and Safaris office that confirmed the reservation. A cancellation shall only be effective from the date of receipt of cancellation by the booking office. If a booking is cancelled the client is subject to cancellation fees as follow: –
CANCELLATION FEES TO BE MADE FOR CANCELLATION
Cancellation received 37 days or more before the tour starts: No cancellation fees will be charged. Cancellation received 11 – 35 days before the tour begin: 30% cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellation received 3 – 10 days before the tour starts 50% cancellation fees will be charged. Cancellation received within 48 hours before the tours starts: 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
NO REFUNDS FOR THE FOLLOWING
- Substitution of the facilities or lost travel time.
- Amendments/Modifications of the itineraries after departure.
- Existence of a situation beyond company’s control which needs other arrangement made to safeguard safety or promote participation and satisfaction of your safaris.
- Not appear at any accommodation, activity, services or tour section with no prior notice (refers to the above)
- Termination of premature contract
- Once the itinerary is confirmed any amendments by the clients (change of Hotel or date) shall not be charged however. If there will be any charges above the cost of the earlier booked cost Nyamera Treks and Safaris will charge you that difference.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
A balance of 25% deposit is required to secure a booking. This amount forms part of the payment for the wildlife safaris, climbing and trekking, Zanzibar holidays, day trips and other related services. Final balance deposit remained need to be paid within 4 weeks before the tour starts. If the full amount is not paid at least 29 days or the client needs to make the payment in time, otherwise we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and the deposit shall be forfeited clients. We will consider only the actual amount transfer to our bank account as paid, all addition money transfer costs need to be paid by the client, and we would have to invoice you subsequently.
According to Tanzania law non – residents are required to pay in foreign convertible currencies. In case of any irrelevant detail’s payments can be done in cash. We don’t uplift credit cards payment upon arrival at the present since we encountered some problems of phony’s in the past and we now put some more emphasize in our booking terms and conditions especially when it comes to payments. Furthermore, we don’t consider it as a safe way of payment by bank transfer. But still if you wish to settle the payment by credit card a 10% surcharge will be added, please inform us so that we shall courier you how to go about.
ACCESSIBILITY
In a matter of any road conditions or Airstrip which might inhabit or make travel impossible at times, Nyamera Treks and Safaris cannot be held liable by these conditions. Any changes which caused by above conditions or matters will not be carried by Nyamera Treks and Safaris.
RISK
Nyamera Treks and Safaris is the local experienced tour operator company which deals with wildlife safaris, mountain trekking and other related tours in Tanzania. All our safaris are adventures, expeditions activities, nature and excursions which may involve certain risks and factor, and inherent dangers. Nyamera Treks and Safaris shall not in any way involve in factor and inherent dangers likely injury, death, illness, damage of property, and any personal items. For the reason of coming for Pleasure, leisure, or studies through Nyamera Treks and Safaris, you don’t forget to keep your eyes on your personal items and personal properties which you come with. In other hand we advise that the persons not fit enough for such long adventurous and rigorous trips due to the chronic illness, physical handicap, mental illness, heart diseases or advanced pregnancy, should not participate in these safari programs.
As experience tour company, Nyamera Treks and Safaris conclude that, the clients are advised to check is health condition before engage in any of our safaris as long as the health is wealth.
AMENDMENTS
After your booking has been confirmed, should you wish to make any changes to your itinerary or wish an earlier departure date, we will make every effort to accommodate your requests based on availability. However, there may be extra costs involved to accommodate your request; these costs are in addition to the fee quoted to you for your initial safari. Normal cancellation fees apply if you wish to postpone your departure.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
The client need keep in mind that our safaris may include physical activity like trekking & climbing, walking safari and another related safari. Nyamera Treks and Safaris must be informed in written form if there is any physical disability requiring attention or treatment at the time of reservation. Since health is wealth Nyamera Treks and Safari strongly suggest that clients may arrange an adequate insurance cover against any possible risk while on tour. The client must make sure that the insurance covers medical expenses and repatriation, personal accidents, tour cancellation or any kind of loss. In other hand a client must be honest to insurance company which he/she joined, so that they may be aware what kind of tour the client is undertaking.
AUTHORITY DURING SAFARIS
During game drive, walking safaris, trekking safaris, and other related safaris, company’s guide/driver decision shall at all times be final. The client is responsible for obeying laws and regulations of foreign currencies as well as law and regulation of destination visited by the client.
LUGGAGES
If your luggage weight on all scheduled flights within the parks and trekking trips is limited to one bag of 15 kg per person. In case your luggage exceeds 15 kg you will have to pay the cost for an additional porter on trekking trips and / or additional costs on all scheduled flights depending on the airline’s rules. (You will get specific details on your itinerary). while on safari or a trekking tour the rest of your luggage can be stored in most of the hotels in Moshi / Arusha.
PASSPORTS, VISAS AND OTHER TRAVEL PAPERS.
It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure that Passports, Visas, health insurance, proof of vaccinations and any other documentation required are all in order for the countries to be visited. Please keep in mind that it is your responsibility to carry proper documentation which should be valid for at least six months after boarding Tanzania. HOW FAR AHEAD OF TIME TO TRAVEL DO ONE NEED TO BOOK
Here is no any short cut off, however flights into Tanzania and Kenya and all’s East Africa country are not many and, in that case, getting seats on KLM airline, British airways, Ethiopian airline, Turkish air and others might be difficult if you attempt to book less than two months before traveling. During high seasons it is advised to book up at least nine months before traveling Tanzania and Kenya. In this time get busy in mid early December as well as early January. After peak seasons there is no trouble of booking if you plan your safari for not less than six to eight months in advance. SEASON VARIATIONS AND WEATHER CONDITIONS
Tanzania enjoys a fairly temperature climate making it a great year around destination. Given the country size. It’s hard to pinpoint when the perfect time to go is, so we will look at what the weather tends to do throughout the year and what you want to do when visiting Tanzania. Dry Seasons, Tanzania experiences two dry seasons tasting from January to March and June to September. The Second, from October to November, then sees lighter rainfall. The rainy seasons can be a beautiful time to visit as the vegetation is at its most lush and green. Rainfall tends to fall in short showers. Interspersed with bursts of sunshine, which can make for some excellent photography adventure. April to May is also the low season in Tanzania, so national park is usually less crowded and rates for accommodation and tours can be lower.
WILDLIFE SAFARIS IN TANZANIA
The best wildlife viewing in Tanzania is observed during the dry seasons; however, your experience can vary according to which national park you are visiting. THE NGORONGORO CRATER

THE GREAT WILDEBEEST MIGRATION SEASONS IN SERENGETI
The annual endless plains of East Africa are the setting for the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles – the pounding of more than 6 million hooves during the great migration. From the Serengeti plains in Tanzania to Kenya Maasai Mara over 1 million wildebeest, 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle and some 200,000 Zebras, relentlessly tracked by Africa’s great predators, migrate in a clockwise fashion over 1,800 miles each year in search of rains, favorable grass. The precise timing of this incredible events is hard to predict, as the path of the wildebeest migration is dependent on rain. The animals follow the path of the rain in order to feed off the new grasses whilst also being close to a good water supply.
